*Summary *

As a Knowledge Technology Coordinator, you will support the day-to-day administration of technology platforms where the Knowledge Management (KM) department is the system owner; particularly as it relates to user support and training, facilitating communications with other departments and vendors, and documenting procedures at the direction of the Director of Knowledge Technology.

Responsibilities

  • Resolves or escalates user issues and enhancement requests on supported systems.
  • Produces a variety of reports and metrics in support of KM data strategies, including tracking of system adoption and other database key performance indicators.
  • Creates and maintains process documentation related to general operations, trouble-shooting protocols, enhancements and upgrades to supported systems.
  • Works closely with IT and other departments to track open action items and keeps the Director of Knowledge Technology informed on status.
  • Follows-up with users, IT or other firm departments to confirm reported issues have been resolved or enhancements addressed.
  • Works with outside vendors to monitor open requests and flag any issues or delays as well as track contractual obligations. Keeps Director updated on critical issues or changes.
  • Provides training to end users on supported systems and all related policies and procedures.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Desired Skills

Experience in a professional service environment required; law firm experience preferred. Demonstrated experience working with databases or similar complex technology platforms required. Ideal candidate will be a high energy, savvy professional with the ability to multi-task and thrive in a fast-paced setting. Communication and data analysis skills, client service orientation, project management and the ability to grasp and translate technical requirements for non-technical users are essential. Strong writing, proofreading and editing skills are critical with a keen attention to detail.

Minimum Education

  • High School or GED

Preferred Education

  • 4 Year / Bachelor's Degree

Minimum Years of Experience

  • 3 years' experience in a project management, database administration and/or customer support position. Experience must include at least one year providing technical training.

Physical Demands

Sedentary work: Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally and/or a negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects, including the human body. The expected pay range for this position, if hired to work in New York City is $ $50.66 per hour. If hired to work in San Francisco or Palo Alto the expected pay range is $ $52.86 per hour. If hired to work in Los Angeles, San Diego, Seattle, or Washington, D.C. the expected pay range is $ $48.46 per hour. Non-exempt positions will be paid on an hourly basis and paid overtime in accordance with applicable laws. The compensation offered to a candidate selected for employment will be dependent upon various factors, including the candidate's geographic market, skills, educational and professional background, experience, and overall qualifications.
