Description
Under the guidance and supervision of the Director of Institutional Effectiveness, the Institutional Effectiveness Coordinator will coordinate and support activities in the Office of Institutional Effectiveness (OIE). Functions include but are not limited to coordinating and maintaining program materials for assessment of student learning, assisting with the course evaluation process in Qualtrics, building and distributing surveys in Qualtrics, coordinating data for term and annual program reports for accreditation, supporting data collection activities for accreditation requirements, and other tasks as assigned.

Education/Experience:

Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution required, in psychology or business is preferred.
Minimum of 1-3 years of professional work experience required, preferably in a higher education setting

Knowledge, Skills, Abiliites

Intermediate skills with Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint for data analyses and report writing required. Aptitude to gain proficiency required.
Intermediate skills in Power BI preferred with aptitude to gain proficiency in the software required.
Functional knowledge of Office 365 (One Drive, Teams, Outlook) for organizing, sharing, and collaborating on documents
Accuracy of work, attention to detail, time management skills, and adherence to deadlines.
Strong analytical, assessment, and organizational skills
Ability to translate complex data into simplified reports and presentations for multiple audiences
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Excellent interpersonal skills to build strong relationships at all levels of the institution
Ability to proactively identify challenges and barriers to stated objective and employ assistance in addressing them
Highest level of professionalism and integrity with the ability to handle and manage confidential information

Familiarity with Qualtrics or similar survey platform preferred.
Familiarity with assessment of student learning a plus.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

Assessment of Student Learning Outcomes
Coordinate and manage academic program materials for assessment of student learning in Canvas Outcomes and Microsoft Office
Aggregate, clean, and analyze assessment data across multiple platforms including, but not limited to, Canvas and Time2Track to create cohesive, clear program learning outcomes reports
Facilitate yearly review of curriculum maps and assessment plans to ensure accuracy
Course Evaluations
Coordinate full cycle of semi-semesterly course evaluations including, but not limited to, exporting and uploading enrollment files, setting up course evaluations distributions, managing communication between faculty and students concerning evaluations, managing dashboard roles and permissions, and troubleshooting technical errors for students and faculty.
Institutional Research
Assist with large external survey administration and analysis, such as Noel Levitz
Assist with semesterly enrollment reports as needed
Update the quarterly Board of Trustees Dashboard in Adobe Illustrator
Accreditation
Assist with data collection and reporting for institutional and programmatic accreditation
Ad hoc duties and projects as assigned

Work Environment (Physical Demands):

The usual and customary methods of performing the jobs functions require the following physical demands: some lifting, carrying, pushing, and/or pulling and significant fine finger dexterity. Generally, the job requires 80% sitting, 10% walking, and 10% standing.
