Baker - AM Shift

Job Description:
This position supports the entire Operations Department by primarily baking high quality treats for dogs. Training will be provided for all tasks assigned and equipment used. This is a large scale manufacturing position.

Rate of Pay:

Starting salary @ $18.50 hourly - Dependent on Experience; Benefits for FT employees include Health/Dental and Vision Insurance, Eight Paid Holidays, Paid Time Off provided after training period, Employee Assistance Program, Employee Referral Program, and Educational Assistance Program offered.

Schedule: 40 hours weekly; Monday - Friday; 6:00 am - 2:30 pm (no weekends)

Essential Job Responsibilities The primary duties included but are not limited to:

Mix, form, bake, and package dog treats

Maintain accurate inventory and adhere to FIFO standards

Complete required paperwork to track relevant job functions

Understand and cross-train on all equipment in the bakery

Dishwashing and sanitation

Other duties as requested by Supervisor

Skills and Experience/Physical Requirements:
Timeliness and attendance are paramount attributes for the successful candidate

1+ years working in a bakery preferred

Food manufacturing experience a plus

Ability and readiness to stand for eight-hour shifts and lift up to 50 pounds regularly

Current food handler's card

Ability to work with others, and passionate about dogs and their well-being
