Manager In-Store Experience Implementation

PURPOSE & OVERALL RELEVANCE FOR THE ORANIZATION

This role works with the Senior Manager Retail Experience in enhancing the in-store experience across Direct-to-Consumer stores, including Concept Stores and Factory Outlets. The primary focus is on installation management, maintenance and report of fixture projects and special projects. This manages the end-to-end retail marketing fixture, mannequin and fitting programs outside of new store openings including special projects to ensure our stores are up to date with latest floor plans, fixtures and fittings. This position is crucial in maintaining the visual and functional integrity of our stores, contributing to elevated consumer engagement and driving successful retail outcomes.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES


• Positively communicates and actively demonstrates the Brand Values and NAM Retail Mission.

• Live a consumer-first mindset, to drive visual excellence across the NAM market.

• Lead the planning and execution of installation and maintenance projects for in-store fixtures and communication tools.

• Ensure timely repair and upkeep of visual merchandising tools, including fixtures, mannequins, and in-store communication materials.

• Manage and maintain maintenance and repair forecasting, assisting in managing budgets related to fixture programs.

• Track expenses and ensure projects are delivered within budget, providing regular status updates to senior management.

• Review, analyze and react to reporting from stores for any retail marketing needs related to fixtures, hardware, mannequins, and in-store communication tools.

• Track ROI on any fixture implementation projects.

• Works closely with fixture and fixture storage vendors, including visiting vendors to assess inventory.

• Analyze market trends and consumer behaviors to identify opportunities for in-store strategy updates.

• Track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure success of in-store experience initiatives.

• Focus on improving sell-through of adidas footwear, apparel, and accessories.

• Implement a comprehensive consumer experience strategy that aligns with the brand identity and resonates with the target audience.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate consumer-centric approaches into all aspects of the in-store experience.

• Implementation of effective in-store communication materials, ensuring consistency with the brand message and design guidelines.

• Work closely with marketing teams to synchronize promotional campaigns and messaging throughout the customer journey.

REQUISITE KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES


• Strong understanding of in-store communication strategies and consumer engagement.

• Experience with the implementation of fixtures, fittings and visual merchandising tools.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

• Strong project management skill s with attention to detail.

• Data driven mindset with the ability to analyze market trends and consumer behavior.

• Knowledge and understanding of profit and loss statement and store KPIs to make commercial decisions based on sound financial judgment.

• While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. The employee frequently is required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; and reach with hands and arms. The employee is occasionally required to sit; climb or balance; and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, and ability to adjust focus.

REQUISITE EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE/ MIMIMUM QUALIFICATIONS


• 4-year college or university degree in business, retail management, or related field.

• Minimum 3-5 years' experience working in a sports/fashion customer & commercial focused retail environment.

• Ability to effectively communicate with customers and store personnel.

• Ability to work a flexible schedule to meet the needs of the business, including evening, overnight and weekend shifts as well as ability to travel up to 40% of the time.
