Position Overview:- Title: Substitute Teaching Assistant
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist special education instructors and therapists in executing Individualized Education Program (IEP) objectives.
- Support classroom activities while ensuring a clean and organized learning environment.
- Attend to the physical and basic health requirements of students, including assistance with lifting and positioning.
Essential Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; training or coursework in special education is advantageous.
- Genuine interest in working with children aged 3 to 12 in a special education context.
- Prior experience with young children who have significant special needs is preferred.
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
- Successful completion of a background check.
- Physical capability to be active, including lifting up to 25 lbs.
