Description:

Valuepoint is looking for a 2nd Shift Crib Attendant to disburse product from the crib window, put away inbound material both in the crib and on the plant floor and perform cycle counting within our customers facility. This person will be operating a forklift (This will be an electric Hi-Lo sit down, they will only be using it to put away heavy parts or if needed on the dock to help out, so about 30 percent of their day). The goal is to ensure that material and products will always be at the right place at the right time to achieve ultimate customer service. This person will need to be open to 3rd shift as well.
Responsibilities

• Disburses material to customers at the crib window following established guidelines and procedures.

• Performs cycle counting of inventory to ensure accuracy.

• Unload, audit and put-away inbound material in the proper location.

• Locate and move inventory items for storage or outbound shipment.

• Identify damages and report shortages or quality deficiencies of inbound material.

• Transport materials to specific drop points.

• Inventory check, refill and maintain point of use areas.

• Inspect mobile equipment to determine the need for repairs and guarantee safety.

• Keep updated records of inventory and activity logs.

• Comply with company policies and legal guidelines.

• Help maintain a safe and orderly environment of the crib.

• Replenish Personal Protective Equipment.

• Work with Material Planner to complete Plant To Plant transfers.

SHIFT:
2nd Shift 3:30PM- 12AM
Must be open to weekends & OT. It is voluntary typically, but is mandated if employees are not volunteering.

This individual MUST be open to 3rd shift (12AM-8:30AM). If someone on 3rd shift has planned PTO this individual will be schedule to work their shift for coverage. They will have a notice.

Please note- they MUST be in the tool room by 3:30PM. With parking and the walk they will probably need to arrive by 3:10PM each day.

3a). Some parts in the tool crib can weigh up to 50 lbs

4). Ability to learn how to navigate email
