• Supervise a team of toolmakers to ensure the efficient repair and troubleshooting of Transfer and Progressive Dies.
• Repair and maintain Transfer and Progressive Dies to ensure optimal performance and minimize downtime.
• Advanced TIG Welding skills are essential for this role.
• Organize priorities and assign tasks in the tooling area to maximize productivity and efficiency.
• Develop and implement maintenance plans and tool improvement initiatives to drive business growth and improvement.
• Collaborate with the tool room manager to ensure effective communication and coordination of tooling activities.
• Train and develop toolmakers to enhance their skills and knowledge.
• Lead by example and promote a culture of excellence, quality, and safety within the tool room.
• Ensure compliance with tooling planning and maintenance schedules.
• Manage and monitor the die protection plan to guarantee quality and minimize waste.

• 10+ years of experience in a related field, preferably in the automotive industry.
• Proven track record of success in tool repair, adjustments, and press troubleshooting.
• Advanced TIG Welding skills and certifications from accredited schools in computer systems.
• Strong organizational, communication, and leadership skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment and prioritize tasks.
• Highly motivated, service-oriented individual with a focus on detail and quality.
