Supervisor Ramp Services

The role of Supervisor Ramp Services involves managing airport activities, overseeing staff, ensuring compliance with regulations and company standards, and maintaining operational efficiency. This position also involves communication with airport authorities and customers. The responsibilities may vary based on the operation's size and focus.

Ramp Service Functions:

The responsibilities include loading/unloading cargo, transferring cargo between terminals and aircraft, handling freight and company materials, cleaning cabin interiors, de-icing aircraft, and more.

Responsibilities:
  • Oversee all airport operations including ticketing, baggage check-in, and flight dispatch.
  • Handle baggage service functions and passenger issues professionally.
  • Coordinate with various departments to meet operational requirements.
  • Represent the company when required.
Minimum Requirements:
  • 1-2 years of aviation industry experience.
  • Associate's degree or equivalent.
  • Proficiency in English.
  • Availability to work weekends and holidays.
Preferred Skills:
  • Strong communication skills in English.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and work independently.
  • Capacity to handle stress and write reports effectively.
  • Effective public speaking skills.
Physical Requirements/Working Conditions:
  • Ability to lift up to 70 lbs.
