Role Responsibilities: The Cargo Operations Supervisor plays a crucial role in overseeing, directing, and coordinating all facets of cargo operations through subordinate staff. Key responsibilities include:

  • Providing detailed performance reports to the Cargo General Manager as necessary.
  • Ensuring compliance with Service Level Agreements (SLA) and Key Performance Indicators (KPI).
  • Analyzing operational processes to enhance efficiency.
  • Guaranteeing adherence to all governmental regulations.
  • Assisting with monthly billing processes while ensuring budgetary constraints and resource adequacy.
  • Participating in the training, mentoring, and development of team members, including handling disciplinary actions and recruitment.
  • Maintaining effective communication with clients and stakeholders.
  • Delivering monthly operational reports and undertaking additional tasks as assigned by the General Manager.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Proficient in computer applications, particularly Microsoft Office.
  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret technical documents and regulatory guidelines.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills in English.
  • Capability to present information effectively to groups.
  • Strong analytical skills to identify problems, gather data, and formulate conclusions.
  • Ability to interpret complex technical instructions and manage various variables.
  • Sound judgment and prioritization skills to navigate a fast-paced environment.
  • Capacity to perform under pressure and meet tight deadlines.

Experience and Education:

  • Two to four years of experience in Airport Operations Management or equivalent.
  • Possession of a valid U.S. driver's license.
  • Completion of the necessary airport badging process.

Work Schedule: As a provider of airline services, AGI requires flexibility in work schedules to accommodate operational demands, including flight delays and cancellations. Adherence to company attendance policies is essential.
