The Jefferson College of Nursing-Center City Campus is seeking interested faculty with Med Surg experience to join our team. Interested applicants must possess visionary, creative leadership skills to provide implementation of nursing curriculum within the graduate program. Responsibilities include collaborating with faculty for course planning/projections, identifying needed resources, and overseeing selection of clinical preceptors and clinical sites, and student clinical placement and progression. Faculty members collaborate with Chair of Programs, Associate Deans, Dean, and support services to achieve program outcomes.
As a faculty member, the applicant must have enthusiasm for teaching future nurses in the classroom and clinical settings. Faculty members serve as advisors and mentor for students and participate in college meetings and committees. Current practice, scholarship and service to the community are desired. Strong communication and relationship building skills are essential.
This is a salaried position with a generous benefit and retirement program. Academic appointment and salary will be commensurate with experience.
