Associate Director, Family Giving

Dartmouth seeks an accomplished fundraising professional to join
its Family Giving and Engagement team. The Associate
Director will develop and implement comprehensive cultivation,
solicitation, and stewardship strategies for approximately 150
prospect families believed capable of making $25,000 to $1+ million
gifts in support of Dartmouth's institutional priorities. The
Associate Director will work with the Director and other staff to
increase Dartmouth's visibility among parents and family members;
serves as the lead for 4-5 regional events a year focused on
building and strengthening the Dartmouth parent and family
community.

Required qualifications: Bachelor's degree with five or
more years of experience or a combination of education and
experience in a complex college or university development
operation, or the equivalent. Demonstrated experience soliciting
and closing five and six-figure gifts, and a record of success in
meeting goals. Candidates must have excellent communication and
interpersonal skills and a capacity to manage a wide range of
relationships and situations. Ability to work as part of multiple
teams and travel approximately 30-40% of working days; some evening
and weekend work is required. Event planning and execution
experience is preferred.

This position is available for a fully remote work
arrangement with preference for candidates living in a major
market. If remote, travel to campus for key events and training is
required.
