Assistant Director of Nursing

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Assistant Director of Nursing to join our team at Carthage Health And Rehabilitation Center. As a key member of our leadership team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient care and services.
Key Responsibilities- Assist the Director of Nursing in managing the nursing department, ensuring compliance with regulations and implementing regional policies and procedures.
- Make daily rounds to direct the work of employees, identify hazards, and ensure services are delivered to clients consistent with their needs.
- Participate in Continuous Quality Improvement initiatives and corrective follow-up actions.
- Under the direction of the Director of Nursing, complete chart audits, report results, and make recommendations for improvement.
- Ensure proper infection control techniques are utilized and maintain effective communication with families, residents, and facility staff.
- Current R.N. license by State required, with experience in long-term care or working with the geriatric population preferred.
- At least three years of nursing experience and one year of supervisory experience.
- Clerical ability to read reports and utilize data accurately.
- Skill in organizing and planning programs, managing personnel, and providing nursing services for residents.
- Ability to plan and direct the department, coordinating with other departments.
