Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Executive Chef to lead our culinary operations at McConnell Golf. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for overseeing all food and pastry production, including menu development, food purchasing, and staff supervision.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement menus that meet the highest standards of quality and presentation.
  • Supervise and train a team of chefs, cooks, and kitchen staff to ensure efficient and effective food production.
  • Manage food and labor budgets to ensure profitability and minimize waste.
  • Maintain the highest standards of sanitation, cleanliness, and safety in all kitchen areas.
  • Collaborate with the Food and Beverage Director to plan and execute special events and banquets.
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures to enhance and measure quality, including training and professional development opportunities for staff.
  • Recruit, select, and evaluate job performance of kitchen staff, and make recommendations for compensation and promotions.
  • Establish and maintain a regular cleaning and maintenance schedule for all kitchen areas and equipment.
Requirements
  • Education: Degree in Culinary Arts and/or Hospitality Management degree.
  • Experience: 8 years of food production and management experience, or 15 years of relevant experience.
  • Skills: Exceptional cooking skills, ability to plan and monitor food-production-related costs, and knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices.
  • Certifications: Certification from American Culinary Association or other professional hospitality association, and food safety certification.
Salary Range

$70,000 - $80,000 per year.
