The Job

As the Principal Product Manager - Commercial Products for Omnidian, you are the evangelist for our commercial solar portfolio clients and the accountable owner of the product life-cycle, P&L, and client experience. You will actively work with all functions and levels within the company, driving your views using market data, client perspective, financial modeling, intuition and passion.

What You'll Do

Strategy and Market Positioning

Identify, quantify, prioritize, and drive business opportunities for commercial solar portfolio clients.Lead a cross functional Business Line team that is responsible for the direction, success and profitability of the Commercial Business Conceive of, organize, drive, and track complex programs technically, interpersonally, and financially.Define, test, and socialize client value proposition with Marketing, Product Marketing and Sales teams.Determine product pricing to optimize business growth and profitability based on customer value and internal costs.Gather Voice-of-Client feedback, market data, and competitive intelligence, sharing insights organization-wide.Partner with Engineering and Operations teams to optimize product features, execution and client experience

Product Development and Sales Support

Own product requirements, prioritization, and roadmap, balancing customer satisfaction, product enhancements, and business growth.Translate business requirements to Operations and Software teams for white-glove client experience and operational efficiency.Train the sales force and develop sales tools (fact sheets, presentations) that highlight product value and differentiation.Build and manage relationships at senior levels, internally and externally, to support product and business development.

Experience You'll Need

  • You have 8+ years' experience in product management, strategy and product marketing, including B2B
  • Experience on Google platform tools, Salesforce, Service Cloud
  • Strong financial modeling skills

Experience That's a Plus

  • Experience working with commercial solar portfolio owners
  • Core understanding of technical aspects of commercial solar systems up to 20MW
  • Demonstrated entrepreneurial efforts to improve diversity, equity or inclusion of product, workplace, or vendors
  • Strong understanding of service models across the value chain
  • BS or MBA
