At Environmental Solutions Group, we are currently seeking a dedicated Process Manager to join our Operations team at our Fort Payne, AL location.
- Lead and manage the safety and safety-training program for your department
- Ensure safety and environmental compliance
- Drive quality improvements at the department level
- Liaison between manufacturing and support functions
- Engage team members in collaborative problem solving
- Ownership and responsibility for product flow, WIP, and labor utilization
- Implement lean manufacturing improvements and provide technical support
- Improve communication between team members, departments, and management
- Provide team member performance counseling and reward and recognition
- Participate in interviewing and selection of new team members
- Ensure proper training and documentation of new employees
- Maintain cleanliness and order in the work area and participate in continuous improvement activities
- Support SQDCME metrics through LEAN and other improvement initiatives
- Monitor materials issues and participate in problem-solving methods
- Perform various other duties as required
Job Specifications:
- Bachelor's Degree preferred, or equivalent experience required
- Flexibility to work day or night shifts and weekends
- Ability to acquire LEAN principles and problem-solving skills
- Experience in leading, mentoring, and providing leadership to team members
- Good organizational and delegation skills
- Thorough understanding of complex machine tools and ability to read blueprints and specifications
- Effective communication skills and ability to work with internal and external customers
- Ability to perform job functions in a manufacturing environment
- Physical ability to lift, stand, walk, and perform repetitive tasks
