Delaware North Parks and Resorts is hiring a full-time Banquet Captain to join our team at Tenaya Lodge at Yosemite in Fish Camp, California. As a Banquet Captain, you will lead the food and beverage team during events while delivering the highest quality of service to our guests. Responsibilities
  • Train, schedule, and supervise banquet team members
  • Conduct daily function meetings with banquet managers and team members before events
  • Ensure all company policies, service procedures, and safety standards are followed
  • Maintain communication with the banquet and kitchen teams
  • Facilitate and execute Banquet/Catering events as needed, along with service team
Qualifications
  • Minimum of 6 months experience in a supervisory position
  • Excellent guest service and employee relations skills
  • Ability to work flexible hours to include nights, weekends, and holidays
  • Basic math and counting skills
  • No high school diploma or GED required
Physical Requirements
  • Ability to lift or carry up to 50 pounds
  • Ability to stand or walk for 8-hour shifts
  • Possible exposure to loud noise
