Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Dishwasher to join our team at Tenaya Lodge At Yosemite. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the highest standards of cleanliness and sanitation in our food and beverage operations.

Responsibilities
  • Clean and sanitize dishes, glassware, pots, pans, flatware, and kitchen items to meet health and safety standards.
  • Store clean dishes, utensils, and cooking equipment in a clean and organized manner.
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment, including equipment, floors, walls, and cooking areas.
  • Remove trash from the dish room and transport it to the dumpster, and clean and sanitize garbage cans.
Requirements
  • Ability to understand and follow directions.
  • Capacity to work cooperatively with others.
  • No experience required, but a willingness to learn and take direction is essential.
Physical Demands
  • Must be able to carry up to 60 lbs, placing items above and below head height.
  • Standing, walking, bending for the duration of the shift, occasionally pushing and pulling to move equipment, mops, and brooms.
  • Exposed to variable temperatures and damp environments.
