What will I do in this position if hired?


In this position, you will collaborate with the Office of the Chief Financial Officer providing technical and analytical expertise on the implementation and administration of the agency budget formulation.

Typical assignments include:


Fostering collaboration with program managers to continuously develop and refine budget requirements, thereby ensuring the optimal operation of the Agency.

Utilizing fact-finding and investigative techniques to prioritize the Agency's most critical mission priorities, driving efficient resource allocation.

Providing expert guidance to program and administrative staff, facilitating the resolution of issues or inquiries pertaining to the agency's budget process.

Contributing to the development of comprehensive training programs aimed at enhancing the budgetary knowledge and skills of agency personnel.

Preparing and deliver clear and concise presentations on budget-related information to senior management, effectively communicating complex financial concepts.

Travel requirements in support of emergency operations may be extensive in nature (weeks to months), with little advance notice, and may require employees to relocate to emergency sites with physically austere and operationally challenging conditions.
