We're looking for a forward-thinking individual to take on the combined role of Operations and Project Manager within our Customer Operations organization reporting to the COO. This dual role will require a versatile professional capable of driving both the operational excellence and successful completion of strategic projects with some administrative components. The ideal candidate will be adept at implementing the right processes and practices across the organization, improving performance, and ensuring that all projects align with our company's strategic goals.

Responsibilities

  • Formulate strategic and operational objectives to guide the Customer Operations team goals.
  • Improve operational processes, and best practices.
  • Partner with leaders to examine opportunities for growth and efficiency aligned with
  • KPIs/OKRs.
  • Monitor production of KPIs via dashboards (PowerBI), makes recommendations to COO
  • on observed trends/themes.
  • Find ways to increase gains through partnerships with stakeholders across the business in
  • areas such as Product/R&D, Finance, Sales, etc. to drive operational effectiveness.
  • Leads/assists in leading effective and impactful meetings with or for COO.
  • Plan, execute, and finalize internal projects according to deadlines and within budget.
  • Partners with key business owners on change management items related to above
  • projects.
  • Define project scope, goals, and deliverables in collaboration with senior management
  • and stakeholders.
  • Allocate resources and coordinate efforts of team members and third-party contractors or
  • consultants.
  • Develop and deliver progress reports, proposals, requirements documentation, and
  • presentations.
  • Proactively manage changes in project scope, identify potential crises, and devise
  • contingency plans. Makes recommendations on improvements and potential risks.
  • Various administrative functions supporting COO org meetings, customer engagements,
  • travel, etc.

Requirements

  • Proven work experience as an Operations Manager or Project Manager.
  • Strong knowledge of organizational effectiveness and operations management.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure, plan personal workload effectively, and delegate.
  • Capability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining quality and
  • efficiency.
  • Degree in Business, Operations Management, or a related field.
  • PMP certification or equivalent is highly desirable.
