Requirements:

  • License: Possess a full and unrestricted license in good standing to practice (LPC, LMHC, LCSW, LMFT, PA-C) in one or more of the following states: FL, TX, NC, GA, NJ, PA, IL, NJ, NY, VA, DC, MD.
  • Demonstrate psychotherapy experience utilizing evidence-based treatment(s).
  • Have access to a computer, webcam, reliable internet connection, and a private, quiet space for sessions.
  • Commitment to a minimum of 10 hours per week.
  • Minimum of 2 years of post-licensure clinical experience.
  • Experience providing individual, group, and family therapy.
  • Specialized training or certification in specific therapeutic techniques
  • Experience working with postpartum and women ages 12+ preferred.

Experience/Skills

  • Proficiency in evidence-based therapeutic modalities (CBT, DBT, EMDR, etc.).
  • Strong diagnostic and assessment skills.
  • Competency in developing and implementing treatment plans.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to effectively communicate with clients, families, and other healthcare professionals.
  • Strong active listening skills.
  • High degree of empathy and compassion for clients' mental health challenges.
  • Ability to build rapport and establish trust with clients.
  • Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities.
  • Ability to adapt therapeutic approaches to meet individual client needs.
  • Effective time management and organizational skills.
  • Ability to manage a caseload and maintain timely clinical documentation.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team.
  • Strong interpersonal skills to engage with diverse populations.
  • Awareness and understanding of cultural, societal, and economic factors affecting mental health.
  • Ability to provide culturally sensitive and inclusive care.

Licensure:

Current and valid license to practice as a mental health counselor (LPC, LMHC, LCSW, LMFT, or equivalent)
