Position Summary:

Join our team at Grand Canyon Resort Corporation as a Human Resources Representative. In this role, you will play a key part in assisting the Human Resources department with various administrative HR functions. Your responsibilities will include maintaining personnel files, handling recruitment and hiring processes, conducting onboarding activities, and providing support in employee relations, benefits administration, and more. You will be an essential part of promoting a positive work environment and upholding the values of the Hualapai Tribe.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Maintain accurate personnel files and assist with recruitment, hiring, and onboarding processes
  • Administer drug and alcohol testing procedures and ensure compliance with policies
  • Provide training to team members on company benefits and HR policies
  • Address employee relations issues and ensure legal compliance in all HR matters
  • Stay updated on HR laws and regulations and maintain employment records

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in human resources or related field required
  • Minimum 1 year of HR experience in a multi-location business setting
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Experience working for a Tribal entity preferred

Physical Demands:

  • Ability to stand, sit, walk, and communicate effectively
  • Hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity required for various tasks
  • Frequently lift and move objects up to 30 lbs

Working Conditions:

This role will involve working in indoor and outdoor environments, occasional travel, and irregular hours to meet business needs. You must be able to perform under pressure and handle stressful situations effectively.
