The ideal candidate will enjoy working with students and be patient, flexible, organized, responsible, and helpful to students, families, and staff.

This position reports to the director of auxiliary programs and works with middle school staff and administrators to ensure the safety and care of students in our Aftercare program Mondays–Fridays. Day-to-Day Responsibilities

Hours: 3-6 p.m. Monday–Friday

  • Supervise students in various after-school auxiliary programs (Aftercare and Adventures)
  • Facilitate a caring, safe environment for students
  • Oversee the arrival and dismissal of students in after-school programs and manage their check- in and check-out daily using SchoolPass
  • Supervise students during snack time and while on the playground
  • Oversee activities in Aftercare setting, including homework
  • Communicate students needs and parent questions to teachers and classroom-activity program directors
  • Other duties and responsibilities as needed Essential Qualifications
    • Experience working with elementary aged students preferred
    • Ability to multitask and problem solve
