As an extern at our fast-paced clinic, you will be immersed in various aspects of audiological evaluation, treatment, and patient care.

This externship is designed to offer you practical experience, mentorship, and exposure to a diverse range of hearing aid manufacturers and audiological cases including cochlear implants, bone conduction devices, sedated and non-sedated ABRs, as well as the opportunity to observe ear surgeries.

Externship site expects the extern to have mastered these skills before they begin their clinical externship: Strong diagnostic foundation and basic hearing device knowledge and troubleshooting skills.

Externship site expects the extern to learn/demonstrate these skills during their clinical externship:
Diagnostic independence and increased knowledge and proficiency with devices (implantable and non-implantable).
