37 : Tech Staff : Signal Processing And Prototyping For RF Systems

The Advanced Undersea Systems and Technology Group is seeking a scientist or engineer to contribute to the research and deployment of novel capabilities for RF systems.
The ideal candidate will have interest in RF capability prototyping from initial systems analysis through advanced signal processing and a desire to learn more through collaboration with a multi-disciplinary team.
The group welcomes applicants with a background in one or more of the following technical disciplines: electrical engineering, computer engineering, applied mathematics, computer science or data science.
The successful candidate will have the opportunity to improve the capabilities of undersea systems, sensors and platforms through hardware and algorithm development, data analysis from operational environments, and application of novel algorithms to emerging mission areas.
Requirements:
- PhD in electrical engineering, applied mathematics, mechanical engineering, physics, computer science or related technical field.
- Ability to communicate with and present to a variety of audiences
- Ability to program in a scientific programming language (e.
- Experience with signal processing for passive RF or acoustic systems
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with design trades relevant to multi channel RF systems
- Experience with RF system prototyping
