MIT Lincoln Laboratory is seeking a highly skilled Antenna Array Development Engineer to join our RF Technology Group. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for defining and developing advanced antenna arrays for next-generation RF systems.
Key Responsibilities:- Antenna Array Design: Define and develop advanced antenna arrays capable of supporting multiple RF modalities.
- System Development: Participate in the development of RF systems, including system and component modeling, experimental prototyping, and microwave measurements.
- Team Leadership: Lead small teams from concept through development, including oversight of system and component design, prototyping, and testing.
- Education: Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering, Applied Physics, or a related field, or a Master's degree with a minimum of six (6) years of direct experience.
- Experience: Hands-on research experience with RF and microwave systems, including antenna design and testing.
- Simulation Tools: Experience with full-wave simulation tools, including FEKO and Ansys HFSS.
- Circuit Design Tools: Knowledge of microwave circuit design tools, including Keysight Advanced Design System and/or AWR Microwave Office.
- Array Calibration: Experience with active array calibration and near-field measurement ranges.
Selected candidate will be subject to a pre-employment background investigation and must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret level DoD security clearance.
