The VA Southern Oregon Rehabilitation Center and Clinics (VA SORCC) Service Chief, Dental Service, serves as a practicing dentist who performs a full range of professional dental procedures in connection with the treatment of commonly encountered dental diseases or dental health problems requiring standard, corrective, restorative or preventative measures.

The Service Chief oversees the daily operations within the VA SORCC Dental Clinic.

Duties include:

  • Supervising Staff (Dentists, Dental Assistants)
  • Develops performance metrics for all provider classification
  • Monitors compliance with the VHA Dental Quality Indicators (QI) that are published monthly
  • Assessing & allocating resource needs as necessary
  • Responsible for fiscal oversight (within the service line)
  • Other duties as assigned
Work Schedule: 8:00am to 4:30pm PST
