Planate is a small business provider of planning, design, infrastructure management, technical consulting, engineering, and construction management services in support of the US Department of Defense (DOD) and its Service (Army, Air Force, Navy, Marine Corps) missions, along with other US federal agencies, all over the world.

The Architecture and Engineering Intern will support engineering activities including design research, engineering calculations, and analytical modeling under the guidance of experienced engineers.

This role requires a minimum commitment of 3 hours per day at our Orlando office 5 days per week.

Key Responsibilities:

· Assist engineers with all phases of design projects

· Interact directly with the Chief Technology Officer (CTO) in the Orlando Office.

· Provide production support for engineering technical drawings and specifications.

· Ability to follow engineering drawing markups and communicate with responsible engineers for direction.

Qualifications To be successful in the role:

· Currently pursuing an Electrical or Mechanical Engineering Degree

· Must be proficient with Microsoft Office (Excel, word, etc) applications

· Capable in using Microsoft Office and Teams

· Working knowledge of ACAD, REVIT, and Bluebeam is a plus

· Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.

· Ability to follow instructions precisely.

· Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy
