Responsibilities:

  • Assist in project management and owner's representative responsibilities
  • Proactively manage projectrelated issues
  • Oversee project implementation through completion of construction, under the Senior PM's guidance
  • Manage interior renovations, tenant improvement projects, space planning, technology and design
  • Provide technical support; project budgeting and scheduling including Owner's goals & objectives, site & improvements, site feasibility, entitlements & permits, consultant selection; design team management, schedule creation and management, contractor selection and management, financial management including cash flows, anticipated cost reports and monthly reports.
  • Perform program/project audits, closeouts and contract reconciliations
  • Actively participate in OAC (Owner Architect Contractor) meetings, construction calls, walkthrough's – keeping and distributing meeting notes
  • Assemble and manage required teams of consultants and contractors. Negotiate contracts with each team member. Interface with architects, client staff, property managers and vendors
  • Maintain client relationships and manage conflict resolution
  • Provide appropriate level of onsite supervision to ensure project performance criteria are being met.
  • Develop relationships with consultants/contractors/vendors and evaluate their performance.

Requirements/Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in architecture/ engineering, interior design or construction management is preferred but not required
  • A minimum of 2 years relevant experience working on commercial projects
  • Experience working with Landlords, developers, public and institutional owners
  • Ability to assist managing medium and large groundup development projects, and major redevelopment projects
  • Experience in hotel projects, healthcare projects, public and commercial office design & construction preferred
  • Demonstrated a high level of performance in project budgeting, contract negotiations and scheduling
  • Familiarity with ProCore, OneView, and/or MSProject is preferred but not required.
  • Familiarity with complex contract structures and contract negotiation
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, professional manner and computer literacy
  • Tech minded: The real estate and construction industries are consistently changing with technology. You'll need to make technology work to your advantage. You must demonstrate proficiency in the use and application of project management technology tools and continually seek opportunities to develop your skillset.
  • Achiever: We will expect you to act decisively, think big, and manage your time to meet deadlines in a fastpaced environment. Most importantly, you'll want to contribute to a diverse, supportive, and talented team.
