Outreach Manager

Job Description: Peraton Corporation Civil & Health sector is seeking a detail-oriented Outreach manager to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals. This position is a teleworking position.

The qualified applicant will be working with Peraton's MedDRA MSSO (Maintenance and Support Services Organization), which is on its 24th year of maintaining a medical terminology used globally by health authorities and the biopharmaceutical industry.

MedDRA (Medical Dictionary for Regulatory Activities) is a medical terminology used to classify adverse event information associated with the use of biopharmaceuticals and other medical products (e.g., medical devices and vaccines). The MSSO serves as the repository, maintainer, and distributor of MedDRA as well as the source for the most up-to-date information regarding MedDRA. The MSSO also provides training and help desk services to MedDRA users globally. The MSSO is seeking a detail-oriented outreach manager to oversee the training program that provides face-to-face, webinar, and self-learning training to users worldwide and user group meetings. This outreach manager position requires attention to detail, working independently and understanding of the MSSO training, training video development, and user group meeting processes.

Roles and Responsibilities:


• Learn and understand the MSSO business process and workflow as they pertain to training, training video development, and user group meetings


• Assign and manage tasks of MSSO training coordinators who are responsible for

o Updating and maintaining training (including user group meeting) records in the training database, which contains courses, course materials, class events, assigned trainer, registration, attendance, etc.

o Providing logistical support to face-to-face and webinar classes

o Supporting training tool enhancements as Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to provide requirements for the software developers to use

o Responding to user training related inquiries (e.g., how to get a training certificate, what type of training is best for a specific user)

o Providing support to user requested paid training and the Certified MedDRA Coder program


• Work with regional training leads to develop and execute an annual training schedule that is consistent with the MSSO Business Plan. The schedule includes face-to-face and webinar training


• Oversee the development of training videos and MSSO Learning Management System (LMS)


• Provide training related information in the MSSO monthly and quarterly performance report provided to our customer


• Manage the MSSO global user group meetings, including scheduling, preparation, delivery, and post-event lessons learned

Basic Qualifications:

To be considered for this position, you must minimally meet the knowledge, skills, and abilities listed below:


• College degree with experience in tasks described in roles and responsibilities section


• Knowledge/Experience in managing in-person training, virtual training, and on-demand training.


• Good written and oral communication skills


• Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office including MS Excel and MS Access


• Basic knowledge of relational databases and developing straightforward queries to produce customized reports


• Experience in performing detail-oriented tasks


• Ability to work in an international and geographically diverse team

• General knowledge of Articulate


• General knowledge of Learning Management System (LMS)


• Knowledge of SQL or similar query languages (e.g., as used in MS Access)


• Experience in working with international team members around the world
