    Opportunity Highlights:

    • The Department of Surgery and Holtz Children's Hospital are seeking a technically excellent surgeon with the entrepreneurial drive and vision to partner with them in building a thriving and internationally respected pediatric cardiovascular surgery program. The new surgical leader will be charged with the establishment of a new Division of Pediatric Cardiothoracic Surgery within the Department of Surgery at the University of Miami School of Medicine.
    • The new Division Director of Pediatric Cardiothoracic Surgery is directly responsible to the Chair, Department of Surgery, University of Miami Miller School of Medicine for the Division's overall function. The Director will also serve as Surgical Director for Pediatric and Congenital Cardiac Surgery.
    • Building world-class divisional research and teaching missions is also a priority. Multiple areas of interest will be supported by the Department, with unique opportunities to be part of the Batchelor Children's Research Institute, as well as to collaborate with the Mailman Center for Child Development, an academic center at UMMSOM that is one of the top 10 programs in the United States for children with neurodevelopmental disabilities and chronic illness.
