Administrative Assistant/Bookkeeper

We are looking for a motivated Administrative Assistant/Bookkeeper to join our team The ideal candidate will be a problem solver who has excellent communication skills and impeccable attention for detail. The candidate should also have experience working in an office environment, performing administrative tasks, and providing support to coworkers. An ability to multitask, manage complex schedules, and meet changing deadlines is essential to the position.

Responsibilities

  • Track the organization's accounts payable and accounts receivable
  • Enter and maintain cash receipts and disbursement journal and general ledger in Quickbooks.
  • Assist Controller in preparing budgets and audits
  • Provide administrative support to senior leaders
  • Plan, organize, and schedule company meetings in the office, off-site, and via videoconference
  • Order and oversee office supplies and food deliveries for group meetings
  • Run daily, weekly, and monthly reports as directed by admistrators.
  • Develop a general understanding of patient registration, scheduling, and billing to assist staff and fill in when needed.
  • Willing to take on additional duties as needed to facilitate daily operations.

Preferred skills and qualifications

  • Medical billing/coding certification strongly preferred
  • Experience developing internal processes and filing systems
  • Comfortable handling confidential information
