Director, Global Access & Use Evidence Generation Capability LeadLive

What you will do

The Director will create and enhance the capability for impactful access and use evidence generation that drives value for patients and healthcare ecosystem stakeholders. The Director will partner closely across functions and geographies to enable a cohesive and strategic approach to evidence generation, leveraging market insights to maximize product value throughout its lifecycle. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in evidence generation and/or excellent ability to distill market insights to evidence gaps, exceptional leadership skills, and the ability to navigate complex, matrixed environments effectively.

Strategic Vision and Leadership: Develop and articulate a comprehensive, forward-looking vision for global AUEG capability that aligns with organizational goals and drives significant value for patients and healthcare ecosystem partners. Lead the strategic direction and execution of AUEG initiatives.Capability Building and Innovation: Spearhead the development and continuous enhancement of global AUEG capabilities, including the creation and implementation of ground breaking strategic frameworks, processes, systems, and governance models. Champion innovation and the adoption of new technologies and methodologies in evidence generation.Executive Partnership and Influence: Cultivate and maintain strategic partnerships with senior executives, portfolio governance bodies, and key partners to enhance the AUEG operating model. Influence decision-making at the highest levels to ensure the alignment and integration of AUEG initiatives with broader organizational strategies.Global System and Analytics Leadership: Oversee the development of advanced data and analytics infrastructure that supports the effective planning, execution, and performance measurement of AUEG activities. Ensure the use of sophisticated analytics to drive insights and strategic decision-making.Performance Optimization: Establish and manage comprehensive performance metrics to ensure the efficient, value-focused delivery of A&U evidence. Drive continuous improvement initiatives to optimize the effectiveness and impact of AUEG activities.Holistic Evidence Generation Planning: Partner cross-functionally to build capabilities that enable comprehensive evidence generation planning across registrational, access and use, and precision medicine, to improve product value across the lifecycle.Strategic Planning Integration: Coordinate AUEG planning with global brand/product strategic planning, corporate annual budgeting and long-range planning processes.Advisor to A&U sub-teams: Act as a strategic advisor to A&U sub-teams, providing expert guidance on harnessing market insights to prioritize evidence gaps and develop impactful evidence generation plans.Organizational Capability Enhancement: Drive the enhancement of organizational capabilities for evidence generation, including application of novel approaches, elevation of talent and capabilities of teams across functions and geographies.Team Management: Provide mentorship and guidance to direct reports and emerging leaders. Champion a culture of excellence, continuous learning, and career development within the AUEG team.Industry Leadership and External Engagement: Maintain a proactive awareness of external trends and developments to ensure that the company's AUEG capabilities remain at the forefront of the industry. Basic Qualifications: Doctorate degree and 4 years of Scientific and/or Operations and/or Business experienceOr Masters degree and 7 years of Scientific and/or Operations and/or Business experienceOr Bachelors degree and 9 years of Scientific and/or Operations and/or Business experience Preferred Qualifications:5+ years work experience in Medical or Real-world evidence generation or Health Economics Outcomes researchExperience in Market Access/Insights/Brand Strategy functions is a plusExecutive presence by which one can quickly establish credibility with and influence VP/SVP/EVP level staffLeadership experience in building and developing high performing teams, delivering results and shaping the futureDeep understanding of the R&D, drug development and commercialization processOperations experience within a biotech, pharmaceutical or CRO companyToolsets/skills required to drive organizational changeFinance and budget management experienceBusiness process and systems managementKnowledge of SOPs, good clinical practices and regulatory requirementsStrong understanding of principles of customer service as it applies to internal customers and external partnersStrong understanding and experience in the use of performance management techniques, measures, problem solving and analytical thinkingThriveWhat you can expect of us As we work to develop treatments that take care of others, we also work to care for our teammates professional and personal growth and well-being. Actual salary will vary based on several factors including but not limited to, relevant skills, experience, and qualifications.
