Position Overview: Mitsunaga & Associates, Inc. is seeking a highly qualified Civil Engineer Division Manager to lead our Civil Engineering division. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in managing engineering teams, developing project scopes, and ensuring the highest quality standards. This role involves direct supervision of staff engineers and technicians, quality control, and client management.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan, organize, supervise, and schedule work for division personnel.
  • Develop and review scope of work, provide quality control, and prepare contract fee proposals.
  • Set and maintain quality standards, coordinate work plans and schedules.
  • Assign resources to meet project goals, schedules, and objectives.
  • Provide technical support and guidance to Project Managers and Engineers.
  • Work with senior management to improve the division's work environment and benefits.
  • Prepare all fee proposals and final project deliverables.
  • Maintain client relationships and ensure project success.
  • Understand and manage division billing, monthly requirements, yearly goals, and projections.
  • Plan and develop project schedules and milestones.
  • Plan and develop project budgets.
  • Monitor project progress and solve issues.
