As an Instructional Designer, you will:

Position Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement strategic learning programs in the electrical, structural, and mechanical manufacturing domain which are aligned to the appropriate processes, procedures, and organizational goals and objectives
  • Collaborate with subject matter experts (SME) to identify training needs and create learning objectives
  • Design and develop engaging and interactive training materials (i.e. presentations, e-learning modules, videos and job aids)
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of training programs through assessments, surveys, and feedback to make necessary improvements
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including HR, production operations and engineering to ensure alignment and integration of the learning program with other organizational initiatives
  • Remain cognizant of budget, including vendor selection, to optimize resources and achieve cost-efficiency
  • Ensure learning content is aligned to the needs of the business and is compliant (Federal Aviation Administration (FAA), Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA), Department of Defense (DOD), etc.)
Required Skills
  • 5+ years of experience in mechanical/structures assembly, materials and processes engineering, and/or manufacturing research & development
  • 5+ years of experience developing and implementing process improvements
  • 5+ years of experience managing multiple projects simultaneously, prioritizing tasks, and meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Experience analyzing data and making data-driven decisions.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree or higher
  • 3+ years of experience in Instructional System Design Methodologies.
  • 3+ years of experience developing adult learning curriculums.
  • Experience with the structures and mechanical manufacturing processes and documentation (specifications, blueprints/REDARS/MBI, planning/MESci/GOLDesp/CMES/Velocity, including materials, techniques and quality control).
  • Experience with learning management system course and curricula architecture, curricula management, curation and course maintenance.
  • Experience in designing and developing training programs in a manufacturing environment, with a focus on structures/mechanical domain.
  • Experience with Project/Program leadership.
  • Experience with e-learning platforms and multimedia tools.
  • Experience creating and delivering Stakeholder and Executive briefings.
  • Experience with the Quality Management System and Material Review process.
  • Experience using the Problem Solving Model.
Pay Range: $45-$48 per hour

*Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
