  • 2-5 years of experience as a Trusts & Estates Tax Legal Assistant
  • Knowledge in Tax return
  • Preparing Federal Gift and Estate tax, Pennsylvania Inheritance tax and fiduciary income tax returns
  • Learning and adhering to internal processes for administrative and tax processing workflows
  • Understanding of supporting tax documents, tax returns and estate documents preferred
  • Scanning/compiling tax documents to internal tax software programs
  • Assembling tax return forms either through hard copy or using Adobe Acrobat
  • Submitting returns to clients and/or taxing authorities either by electronic means or mail
  • Proficiency with computer programs within Microsoft Office Outlook, Excel, Word, and other software
  • Ability to manage workflow assigned by multiple attorneys and work under tight deadlines and other time constraints with competing and shifting priorities
