Main Purpose of Job
The position is a managerial level of work in the Harford County Health Department. This position oversees the program supervisor and home visitors for the Healthy Families Harford County Maternal Infant Early Childhood Home Visiting (MIECHV) Funded Program. This position is responsible for the on-going collaboration with Community/State partners, public relations, and maintaining positive working relationships with early childhood partners and providers.\r
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Education:���A Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in nursing, social work, psychology, education, counseling, or a related field.\r
Experience:�Six years professional experience in health services, three years must have been in Health Services professional clinical or administrative services in areas other than Mental Health, Developmental Disabilities or Addictions and three years must have been at the managerial or supervisory level.\r
Notes:�\r
1. Candidates may substitute the possession of a Master's degree or a Doctorate degree in a health or human services field from an accredited college or university for up to two years of the required general experience.\r
2. Candidates may substitute the possession of a Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in another field plus an additional year of professional experience in health services for the required education.\r
3. Candidates may substitute U.S. Armed Forces military service experience as a commissioned officer in Health Care Administration classifications or Health Services Administration specialty codes in the health related field of work on a year-for-year basis for the required experience and education.\r
