This role will be engaged in Network Modeling for all the Vision Distribution Centers and Customer Service Call Centers globally. The role will support the business to enable growth, enhance customer experience, and develop robust network strategy, design and action plans to optimize costs. This individual will be a self-starter who will make things happen to communicate activities and deliver results. This role will require strong alignment with Vision Regional Directors and project managers, along with cross-functional Supply Chain and finance partners. This role organizes, leads, and controls special projects relating to Global Vision Deliver supporting both Vision Care & Surgical Vision. Leads the cross-functional team and runs the development, roll-out, and implementation of assigned projects. Coordinates project activities and is responsible for the overall project success including FPOs. Responsible for developing project plans, timelines, and resource requirements. Facilitates cross-functional teams to achieve project goals. Collaborate with all necessary organizations (Marketing, Sales, Production Planning, Manufacturing, Deliver Operations, Suppliers, etc.) to provide for Deliver input, agreement and implementation.
Adheres to environmental policy and procedures and supports department environmental objectives. English is required.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Directs, controls, and facilitates Global Vision Deliver projects.
- Coaches & mentors other team members
- Performs other related duties as assigned by management.
- Vision Deliver Global Network Design: This person will design and run network design activities within the Vision Deliver network. They should build relationships with regional partners, SMEs and network community to successfully accomplish global design activities.
- Network Portfolio: This person will be responsible for the network project portfolio ensuring robust and standard methodologies are utilized, tracking, and reporting of benefit realization.
- Network Analytics: The manager will provide guidance and coaching to the regional network teams on network studies and lead Network Capacity reviews to ensure the network growth over the LRFP horizon against their capability investments needed to support longer term growth.
- Responsible for Monthly/Quarterly Network Updates to include current locations and current/future network projects
- Supports other related duties as assigned by management.
Qualifications
EDUCATION:
- Minimum of a bachelor's degree is required; a master or advanced degree is preferred.
EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS:
Required Skills:
- 6 years of business experience preferably in a health care industry
- 3 years of cumulative experience in a Supply Chain Function
- 2 years of Project management experience required.
- 2 years of experience in successfully leading multi-functional teams in a dynamic environment required.
- Demonstrated Leadership skills with strong communication skills.
- Demonstrated ability to partner, build consensus, to lead teams through influence rather than authority, and build collaborative relationships.
- Demonstrated Matrix management, strategic thinking, and negotiation skills.
PREFERRED SKILLS:
- Demonstrated ability in logistics and analytics.
- Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt preferred.
- FPX and/or PMP preferred
- Proficient use of Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Teams.
OTHER :
- Requires up to 10% traveling.
