The BSA will be working closely with senior stakeholders at Discount Tire to gather requirements for a large data project. They will translate those business requirements into Technical requirements for the development team who will develop the data systems from the ground up.

Must have's:

Communication:

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Ability to translate technical jargon into business-friendly language.

Proficient in creating clear and concise documentation.

Problem-Solving:

Strong analytical skills to identify issues, assess impacts, and propose solutions.

Creative thinking to find innovative solutions to complex problems.

Stakeholder Management:

Ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders (e.g., business users, IT teams, executives).

Strong negotiation and conflict resolution skills.

Project Management:

Understanding of project management principles and methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall).

Ability to manage tasks, timelines, and resources efficiently.

Attention to Detail:

Meticulous approach to analyzing business needs and system requirements.

Ability to ensure accuracy and thoroughness in all documentation and deliverables.

Adaptability:

Ability to quickly learn new systems, technologies, and business processes.

Flexibility to adapt to changing business needs and priorities.

Team Collaboration:

Strong teamwork skills, with the ability to collaborate across different departments.

Ability to work in cross-functional teams, bridging gaps between business and IT.

Technical Skills

System Analysis and Design:

Understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC).

Proficiency in system modeling techniques (e.g., UML, data flow diagrams).

Ability to design and document system processes.

Requirements Engineering:

Expertise in gathering, analyzing, and documenting business requirements.

Familiarity with creating use cases, user stories, and functional specifications.
