POSITION OVERVIEW
The Digital & eCommerce Sr. Product Manager will have responsibility for North America Digital Shelf Capabilities across key online retailers.

The Digital Capabilities are constantly evolving, and this role will help us assess our capabilities to what is needed to succeed in Omnichannel and lead McCormick in staying ahead of our competitors and the needs of our retailers.

A successful candidate will have a strong track record of building strategic roadmaps, strong analytical thinking, cross-functional collaboration and influencing skills, demonstrated change and stakeholder management.


RESPONSIBILITIES
Digital Shelf Excellence

  • Own the defining of strategic imperatives, implementation, administration, and user adoption of best in class tools (Profitero, Power Reviews, Salsify & others).
  • Measure and evaluate the impact & effectiveness of our digital tools through establishing and implementation of KPIs
  • Ensure content compliance and integrity across the digital shelf.
  • Design and deliver digital shelf scorecards to drive insights and optimization opportunities across key retailers.
  • Identify and drive process improvements with cross functional partners to advance McCormick's go to market approach for digital product attributes strategy, consolidation, planning and execution
  • Drive user adoption of digital shelf capabilities and tools through educational trainings and office hours
  • Serve as the primary business owner of all Digital Shelf Capabilities Tool vendors by partnering with the IT product owner to optimize relationships, negotiate contracts, and identify opportunities.
  • Prepare and conduct Sr.
Management presentations and data analysis on a recurring and ad hoc basis

  • Partner with Marketing, Customer Managers, and other cross functional partners to ensure McCormick assortment is accurately represented and managed on eCommerce sites for organic search, keywords, product images and taxonomy
  • Drive thought leadership and define the landscape for the future of tech in the CPG space

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor's degree
  • Minimum 5 years relevant experience in eCommerce, Marketing Analytics, CPG, technology Product Management or related field
  • Proficiency in strategic thinking, business analytics, project management, and communication.
  • Demonstrated expertise collaborating cross functionally, generating roadmaps, and managing change, stakeholders, and timelines in a fluid environment
  • Excellent analytical and communication skills, with ability to provide in depth analysis with interpretive thinking to define problems, develop innovative solutions, and report on insights.
  • Understanding of the industry sector and competitive landscape
  • Demonstrated diligence following through on all commitments with internal and external stakeholders
  • Demonstrated ability to prioritize, screen and validate complex information in a fluid environment to execute complex strategies
  • Demonstrated ability to take initiative to gather feedback and identify solutions for customer and market needs and challenges

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Strong background in and understanding of eCommerce and digital marketing technology.
-eCommerce experience with key accounts such as Amazon, Walmart, Kroger, Albertson's, Instacart

  • Demonstrated experience managing quantitative information and iterative testing to drive business decisions
  • Experience with marketing technology providers such as Salsify, Edge, Profitero, Circana, Syndigo, Power Reviews etc
