Amentum is looking for a Senior Topside Engineer to perform various engineering functions to support Integrated Topside Design (ITD) for aircraft carriers (CVNs) and Mine Warfare, Auxiliary, Amphibious, and Command (MAAC) ships. Responsibilities of this role may include developing detailed test plans, participating in test planning meetings and test readiness reviews, performing testing, gathering, reducing, and analyzing resulting data, preparing and publishing detailed test reports, reviewing technical documentation, and providing technical meeting support.

**Please note that this position is subject to contract award**

Key Requirements and Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science, Physics, Electrical Engineering Technology, Physics, Naval Architecture, or Mathematics.
  • Minimum of twelve (12) years of demonstrated knowledge and subject matter expertise.
  • At least seven (7) years of experience in Research, Development, Test, Engineering, or Integration related to shipboard systems.
  • Demonstrated experience in areas such as System performance requirements, Ship operations, Deck operations, Aviation, Signatures, or EMI/EMC.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret US Government Clearance. Please note that US Citizenship is a requirement for obtaining a Secret Clearance.
