Job Summary
The Department of Accounting in the College of Business, the University of Texas at Arlington, invites applications for a Clinical Assistant Professor in Accounting.
Applicants must have an ability and be qualified to teach graduate and undergraduate auditing and upper-level financial accounting.Preference will be given to candidates who are able to attain and maintain Scholarly Academic status for AACSB accreditation purposes.

Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesThe position responsibilities will include:
Teaching undergraduate and graduate courses; participating in curriculum and course development and have a commitment to student success.
Customary service commitments to the department, college, university, community and/or profession; and
Maintaining appropriate AACSB faculty qualification criteria as defined by the Department.
Required Qualifications
Possess a PhD or equivalent in Accounting at the time of joining the faculty or be ABD and close to finishing the PhD.
Professional certification in accounting.Professional work experience in auditing and financial accounting.
All candidates should be teaching/prepared to teach auditing and upper-level financial accounting.
Preferred Qualifications
Conduct research to attain/maintain Scholarly Academic status for AACSB accreditation purposes.
