The primary duty of the Assistant Animal Control Officer (Asst. ACO) is to support the supervisory, full-time Animal Control Officer. The Asst. ACO will provide on-call assistance outside of the regular business hours of the Division of Animal Control and perform scheduled animal care functions. This includes scheduled coverage on weeknights, rotating weekends, and select holidays.

This is a predominantly on-call position with some regularly scheduled hours, not to exceed 19.5 hours per week.

Pay rate up to $25,000 annually.
