Working within the Human Resources (HR) function, this role is responsible for enabling the Truist Human Capital Analytics and Workforce Planning strategy through the use of human capital data to solve complex talent and business challenges. Reporting to the Human Capital Analytics Manager this role will drive and support efforts and programs that improve the organization's effectiveness and efficiency by providing data-driven talent insights using quantitative and qualitative methods to identify opportunities for individual, team and organization performance improvement. The role will consult directly with LOB leaders and Senior HR leaders to analyze information propose actionable insights and enable leaders to integrate data into daily decisions as well as strategic planning. This role is additionally responsible for supporting the development, implementation and measurement of strategic workforce plans in alignment with desired business outcomes in support of aligned Line of Business or Corporate Functions. The role will consult on tactical execution of workforce initiatives with data insights and process improvements.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

- Consult on execution of workforce initiatives with data insights and process improvements. Implement opportunities to centralize and/or automate processes to gain efficiencies
- Lead workforce data analysis. Design reports, dashboards and tools that improve efficiency and provide workforce insights. Act as a strategic change agent in the effort to establish a culture of data-driven decision-making.
- Responsible for strategic workforce plans. Effectively translate complex strategies into tactical action plans for execution.
- Responsible for measuring progress against strategic workforce plans and other workforce KPIs. Propose KPIs, set targets and benchmarks, establish recurring reports and provide insight into trends. Identify solutions for performance issues.
- Represent Human Resources on cross-function project teams. Influence strategic direction of projects and initiatives with workforce impacts.
- Effectively engages and manages stakeholders at multiple levels of the organization to ensure appropriate sponsorship and support of key initiatives and decisions
- Coordinates the enablement of self-service HR Analytics capabilities across HR Centers of Excellence including coordination & partnership with the Enterprise Data Office on bank-wide analytics capabilities and tools.
- Provides guidance, training and subject matter expertise to teams and employees in asking appropriate questions, selecting the right metrics, interpreting the data and translating data into actionable recommendations
QUALIFICATIONS
Required Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Business, or equivalent education or related training
- 5+ years of experience in Workforce Planning/Analytics or related field
- Strong analytic aptitude, ability to analyze data and formulate effective strategies and tactics
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (e.g. formulas, modelling)
- Experience creating PowerPoint presentations to tell a compelling story using data and analytics; Ability to present data in a logical, concise manner.
- Project management and process improvement experience
- Proven thoughtful process of analyzing data and problem solving with data to reach a well-researched solution.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Advanced Business Degree (MBA, MS, MA)
- Experience in Enterprise Workforce Management
- Technical experience with tools such as Python, R, Qlik, Tableau, Microstrategies and Visier
- Degree in Finance, Engineering, Business, Math, Computer Science, MIS, Analytics, Data Science or other related fields
