What will you do?

A day in the life of a Supply Planning Analyst at VF looks a little like this.

As the Supply Planning Analyst for Smartwool, you will be responsible for monitoring inbound supply to meet service and inventory objectives. You will work to ensure on time deliveries from vendors and to customers. Key partners will include your Global Supply Planning Partners, Vendors, Sourcing, Logistics, Demand Planning, Distribution and Customer Service. Additionally, you will support the supply planners on monthly key buy deliverables.

Let's break down that day-in-the-life a bit more.

Monitor, track and report on order shipments, delays, supply date changes, and order shortages/overages Manage system setup and updates as needed from the beginning to end of a season, including seasonal line plan validation. Perform ad hoc analysis and reporting to support Supply Planning team, identifying and reporting on any needed analytics to support growth and efficiency of business, including but not limited to weekly supply-demand match. Partner with inventory analyst to align on core reporting and days of supply metrics to work with supply planners on pull forwards and chase buys. Manage buying, PR creation, and sample ordering of SMUs for socks and apparel/accessories. Support supply planning manager in preparation for Supply Review meetings for leadership. Highlight issues and opportunities to drive improved supply chain operational performance and achieve business objectives. Participate in key projects to evolve supply chain capabilities. What do you need to succeed?

Additionally, while formal education in a related field is great to have, we are most interested in your 1-2 years of experience and professional achievements.

The foundation skills you will need in this position are:

Bachelor's degree or equivalent from four-year college or university (preferred concentration in Engineering, Supply Chain or Business Management) Excellent written and verbal communication skills Ability to understand, assess, & problem solve by leveraging technical and analytical skills Ability to work effectively within a cross-functional team environment Proven ability to multi-task effectively Advanced Excel Skills (pivot tables, macros) Understanding of reporting tools (Brio/SAP Business Objects/PowerBI) Self-starter with excellent follow through and proactive attitude Excellent attention to detail There are also a few skills that are not required but preferred.

Hiring Range:

$63,936.00 USD - $79,920.00 USD annually

Incentive Potential: This position is eligible for additional compensation awards that may include an annual incentive plan, sales incentive, or commission potential.
