Our dynamic and successful Performance Management Group is seeking a full-time GIS Developer. This position would be based in our Minneapolis, MN office. As a GIS Developer, you would be responsible for providing Geographic Information Systems (GIS) services including mapping, spatial analysis, web applications.

Responsibilities:

  • Proficiency with ESRI software, including ArcGIS Pro, ArcGIS online.
  • Creating production level cartographic maps.
  • Conducting spatial analysis, digitizing, and editing spatial data.
  • Geoprocessing models (model builder).
  • Ability to independently manage multiple assignments, determine and set job task priorities.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with internal and external clients.
  • Demonstrated GIS development skills that enable the engineering staff and clients to utilize GIS in efficient and directed manner while embedding SRF process and standards.

Qualifications:

  • A bachelor's degree or master's degree in information technology, GIS, Computer Science or a related field.
  • Experience with ArcGIS Desktop & Server, Portal for ArcGIS, ArcGIS Online, ArcGIS Pro, WebApp Builder.
  • Development experience in Python, JavaScript, CSS, C# and .NET; jQuery, ArcGIS, JavaScript API (application programming interfaces), Jupyter Notebooks, Pandas, HTML5, CSS, WCF, API for Python REST and deployment with IIS.
  • Familiarity with APIs: ESRI JavaScript API 3.x & 4.x, Portal for ArcGIS Rest API, Arc Objects for .NET (ArcMap & ArcGIS Pro), API for python.
  • Experience with AWS (Amazon Web Services), Azure, or Google Big Query a plus.
  • Knowledge of enterprise geodatabase and RDBMS like PostgreSQL, SQL.
  • Strong data management and organizational skills.
  • Open to learning new open-source technologies and software.
