The Slides Operations Associate for Leica Biosystems is responsible for production of glass slides for cancer diagnostic purposes.

This position is part of the Slides Department located in Richmond, IL and will be an on-site role. At Leica Biosystems, our vision is to advance cancer diagnostics and improve lives.

You will be a part of the Slides Department and report to the Interim Director of Operations responsible for all aspects of production, running machines, packaging, quality checks and problem solving. In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

  • Operate slides equipment and machinery
  • Cross-train on several areas of the slides manufacturing process
  • Perform quality checks and paperwork

The essential requirements of the job include: (NOTE For Hiring Manager: Please reference the 3-5-7 Model for Job Requirements found here)

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous manufacturing experience operating equipment or mechanical aptitude
  • Occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.

It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:

  • Problem solving

This job is also eligible for bonus/incentive pay.
