job summary:

POSITION SUMMARY Responsible for meeting customer performance expectations through document control. Reviews customer specifications and compiles certification packages to achieve business objectives of assigned customer accounts. Essential Functions Statement(s)  Compiles and maintains control records and related files to release blueprints, drawings, and engineering documents to manufacturing and other operating departments.  Inspection of parts and completion of inspection reports.  Examines documents, such as blueprints, drawings, change orders, and specifications to verify completeness and accuracy of data.  Confers with document originators or engineering liaison personnel to resolve discrepancies and compiles required changes to documents.  Posts changes to computerized or manual control records, releases documents, and notifies affected department.  Other duties as assigned.
