CAD Operator Engineering Plan Services

Are you detail oriented and a good communicator? If so, put your skills to use handling a wide variety and size of drawing updates, and creating new plans for large commercial and industrial properties. You will work closely with your supervisor, as well as our QC/Training team, as you learn our customized CAD system and specialized plans.
Initially, assignments will be of limited scope and complexity giving you the opportunity to learn. You will gradually begin drafting plans of larger, more complex properties, working from our field engineer's notes as well as plans from the facility.
Responsibilities will include:
Managing your workload to meet deadlines and other performance requirements.Communicating with supervisor any issues or concerns.Ensure that FM Global Insurance Plan standards are followed.Learning our CAD tool and processes.Successful CAD Operator candidates have the following qualifications:
Minimum of a high school diplomaCollege Degree and/or CAD drafting certificate is a plus1 - 3 years of related experience is a plusStrong verbal and written English communications skillsGood analytical, organizational, problem solving, and interpersonal skillsEfficient time management ability with minimal supervisionSolid technical aptitude including diverse knowledge of drafting principlesProficient in MS Office productsThe final salary offer will vary based on geographic location, individual education, skills, and experience.
