Responsible for customer service, sales, and relationship management while surpassing set goals consistently. Become an expert in First United Bank products and processes to build customer relationships through the following key responsibilities.
MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS)
- Maintain in-depth knowledge of all First United Bank products, services, procedures, policies, and relevant regulatory issues, ensuring compliance with banking regulations.
- Exceed customer service expectations by providing exceptional service and building strong relationships with customers.
- Act as the primary contact for customers regarding all bank products and services.
- Identify customer needs and recommend appropriate bank products, ensuring customer satisfaction.
- Execute customer service activities accurately, efficiently, and in compliance with bank policies.
- Achieve performance targets and actively engage in sales campaigns.
- Open new accounts, process loan requests, and handle all banking transactions.
- Handle various banking services such as issuing money orders and processing coin deposits.
- Maintain cash supply, perform cash verifications, and assist with ATM balancing procedures.
- Ensure security and safety measures are followed at all times.
- Build and maintain customer relationships, including outbound calling efforts.
- Lead and mentor junior staff members.
ADDITIONAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Complete all required compliance exams annually.
- Adhere to company policies and procedures.
- Maintain a professional appearance and demeanor.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
EMPLOYEE SPECIFICATIONS

Education and Work Experience
- Strongly prefer a high school diploma and some college education.
- At least 3 years of experience in banking as a Teller, Lending Assistant, or New Accounts personnel.
- Experience with cash handling.
