Job Description: Position: Operations Manager

The position of the Operations Manager is a key component to the organization's success. The Operations Manager will work directly with the Assistant Production Manager and the Assistant Warehouse Manager to achieve the highest levels of throughput efficiency and output. The Operations Manager will work with the Project Management team to effectively manage the priority list of incoming product from receiving, production, and the shipping of sold product. The ideal candidate must have the ability to work in a fast-paced environment and have proficiency in multi-tasking.

Responsibilities:


• Manage the workflow, resources, and plan to ensure that efficiency of the production line.


• Plan, organize, and supervise in daily warehouse operation and activities, including the receipt, documentation, storage, safety and distribution of equipment and supplies.


• Enforces operations related policies, practices, reporting, and security measures to ensure effective support and execution.

  • Create, implement, and oversee standard operating practices and measureable output goals per position
  • Work directly with the Director of Operations to drive the strategic direction of the organization's operational goals.
  • 3-5 years of prior operations work experience
  • Bachelor's degree
  • Excellent team-building and interpersonal skills
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Must work well in a fast-paced environment with dynamic requirements and priorities
  • Attention to detail and committed to managing problems through resolution
  • Being adept with MS Office tools such as Word, Excel and Outlook is necessary
  • Experience with ERP systems is a plus


• Lead and participate in continuous improvement in operations


• Observe health and safety regulations; maintain the operations floor to ensure it is in a clean, safe, and orderly condition.


• Provide analytics and reports to the Director of Operations and Diamond Assets leadership team


• Recruits, interviews, and hires staff in both production and warehouse operations


• Handles discipline and termination of department staff in accordance with company policy.


• Provides constructive and timely performance evaluations and quarterly conversation to department staff.


• Other job duties as assigned
